FIRE AWARENESS TRAINING
Why should employees receive Fire Awareness Training?
In a fire, the immediate actions of your staff can help to save lives if they have the correct knowledge and information. Fire Awareness training is important for ensuring that staff know what to do to prevent fires from happening and how to evacuate the building safely in the event of a fire. It is also a requirement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for all employees to understand basic fire safety.
Surefire offer Fire Awareness, Fire Warden and First Aid Training Courses all delivered at your premises at a time convenient to you. Every attendee will learn the basics of fire safety and get a chance to experience using a fire extinguisher in a participative live fire demonstration.

Fire Wardens will carry out regular fire drills to ensure that all occupants evacuate the building safely.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID TRAINING
Why should employees receive Emergency First Aid Training?
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. What is ‘adequate and appropriate’ will depend on the circumstances in the workplace. This includes whether trained first-aiders are needed, what should be included in a first-aid box and if a first-aid room is required.
Surefire can provide you with First Aid Training at your premises, to cover a range of topics so that your employees feel confident when dealing with medical emergencies which will help them both in the workplace and at home. On completion a HSE Approved Certificate will be issued.
