Our sprinkler team are accredited to LPS1048, for installation and sprinkler fit-outs to Category A and B.
Risers are installed within large scale buildings for the Fire Service to deliver vast quantities of water to fight a fire. Dry risers are kept empty of water, and wet risers are permanently charged with water either directly from a storage tank, booster pumps or fed directly from the town’s main water supply.
Our design team has a wealth of experience in the design of complex Wet and Dry Riser Systems and we can provide drawings to suit any requirements.
All equipment we supply conforms with the stringent requirements of BS5041 and LPCB as necessary.
Due to the positioning of risers, they are often prone to vandalism and neglect. To ensure full working order for the Fire Service, in accordance with British Standards all Dry and Wet Riser Systems should be maintained on a 6 monthly basis and hydraulically pressure tested annually. Our engineering teams carry the necessary pumping and testing equipment to cater for all types of riser systems
